I heard of it yeah, and I must say I was pretty interested. There's a place here where they specialize in belgian brews. Me and my girlfriend took a room there for our first anniversary of us going out together. You should have seen the huge jacuzzi, damn... maybe I'll post pics.
Anyway, they're the ones I get my belgian beers from, not that I really have a choice, the government has a monopoly over alcohol imports so we have to go through a private importer who will do buisiness with the government and then I can get my beer at one of these monopolistic crap stores. Their beer selection is goddamn awful, that's why we have to import good stuff by ourselves. At least they have some Orval these days, as well as Chimay Grande Réserve (blue cap) but other than that, you have a few import piss on a little shelves that's about 1% of what they have, the rest being liquors and wine. They have the monopoly on all hard liquors (vodka, gin, name it) as well as wine. You can have some cheap wine in groceries but that's it, and they control it anyway.
So anyway, when I was having dinner at this nice place with my girlfriend, I drank some beers of course and when I wondered which one to get, I told them I like it when a beer has a strong taste like (name abbey beer) and that I wondered about the Kwak. They told me it's pretty much light on the palate so I decided to go with another one instead (Corsendork). They do serve the Kwak with the right glass and that thing that holds it.
