What would happed if you used your cell phone jammer right next to a cell phone tower?

The jammer operates by generating an interference wave that cancels out the cell signal. The stronger the signal, the less success the jammer will have. Give it up if you're next to a tower.

So basically use a shotgun on the tower? I was hoping it would cancel every signal to the tower
