So I just upgraded to a new PC and now I'm going to serve my PS3. Are you doing it?
Previously, I'd been converting video to .mp4 and copying it. After booting up the new rig, WMP11 won't recognize .mp4 and PS3 won't play .avi, though everything else seems to work just fine (.mp3, pictures, .mpg video, etc.). I've heard good things about Nero transcoding on the fly and I have a copy, but I don't want to install that bulky Nero shit unless I have to. Do you know the best way to stream video or .mp4 (I've already converted a ton of shit to .mp4)?
p.s. I need Guitar Hero 3 on Sunday. You guys know if there are midnight release deals on Saturday night or anything? This has gotta be the best time to have a PS3, I'll be able to get a copy right away, since no one will be buying them. Yehaw!
