But beyond the technical leap in graphics, the gameplay is superb as well.

I have to say though, that I'm slightly disappointed in the grass (it looks very flat). However, I have a feeling that with DX10.1 and a patch it will look much better.

After looking into ATi's DX10.1 presentation, it seems raytracing features have already worked their way in to the DX10.1 spec and technologies such as global illumination will allow for MUCH better shading that will be able to give the grass some depth. Here's a pic that makes the point. The view on the right is how the grass looks in Crysis to me now (could just be my hardware, but even on high settings at a shitty frame rate it looks flat), but if it had shading like on the left, the boost in realism would be amazing:
