I'm seriously considering it but I still have to do some Christmas shopping. I want to see what kind of bonus I'm getting this year first.

I need to check the reviews for the PS3 version. If I did, I think I would dump the 2 GH3 packages I purchased (stupid guitars don't come out by themselves until next year) in favor of it.

While I have the occasional GH party, I don't know if people would be more or less into playing drums and singing. Probably, but it's real expensive to grab the thing and not play it, but I would like to learn the video game drums.

I think it depends on the reviews, how well the PS3 version works, and what the DLC situation is. So far DLC for GH3 is pretty bad. DLC for Rock Band is supposed to be pretty kick ass, but that's what they said about GH3 as well.

I'll probably wait until mid-December if I'm going to do it.

I'm mighty upset about the whole mess of a situation with all the controllers. Guitar Hero guitars work with Rock Band, Rock Band controllers don't work with Guitar Hero.

So even if I purchase the Rock Band bundle, I would still need to buy yet another controller for 2 player Guitar Hero. And wtf is the deal with no controllers to be found anywhere? The Rock Band controllers won't be sold by themselves until probably next Spring and there still aren't any stand alone GH3 guitars out. What a mess.

The guitar controller fiasco is a load of bullshit thanks to ol' Activision/Red Octance being a bunch of cock gobblers. Thank god Rock Band is totally open to accepting third party controllers for it from the get go, which I suspect is what the developers always wanted in the first place but were denied because of their shitty publisher being a fat bunch of assclowns (hi, Activision and Red Octance).

Still yea, it sucks. They need to get some stand alone controllers out there post-haste :(
