well, my dad had a 33mhz 486 laptop that could do 16 colors that eventually got upgraded to a 166mhz pentium laptop, but those I could only use for word processing. I was basically a SNES junky.
My first real PC was a 233mhz K6 / Matrox Mystique 220 4mb PCI card (which had shitty VESA2 support and required SciTech Display Doctor to get anything to run well). By that point, everything was mostly Windows9x based.
The only PC games I ever really played were on friends PC's so that's why I really haven't dabbled too much. Any recommendations on what to check out?
I've been using ScummVM for those Lucas Arts point & click games which are awesome, but as far as what PC games to check out, I just have no idea other than the few I played back in the day.
