After using a 17" CRT forever and even after going to a dual CRT setup a month ago I finally bought an LCD monitor, I got this bad boy:

It's friggin huge when it's on your desk and I think I have a sunburn now. I had $75 in Best Buy gift cards and there's not a damn thing I'd buy there that I can't get cheaper on the net. I don't wanna know how much I could've bought this monitor for on the net but it came to ~$280 after tax. I hope it lasts long because I'm not up for buying another one for a long time.

OfficeMax had a 24 inch Soyo LCD monitor on sale for $249 (after rebate) a month or so ago. I bought one before that for $299 and damn is it huge. A bonu is that the LCD technology behind it is good, not the cheap TFTs that are flooding the market now. My monitor's tech is the same (PVA) as the nice Dell LCDs.

Congrats on getting a nice monitor!
