Caught Atila on IM earlier today. I don't think any of the conversation below is privileged information, so here it is.


Me: Any updates in the near future on news posting privs?
Me: Also, the guys in CA are wondering about the domain disappearing
Atila: well, I've mailed zach many times, he's set everything up
Atila: but I can access the newsupdater
Atila: after entering my l/p, it's gives an error
Atila: the domain is not going anywhere
Atila: for MONTHS now
Atila: zach's not responding
Me: the guys say the domain is lapsing in March 2008
Atila: I have no phone number to reach him on
Atila: that's not good, but I can still pay for it with my own credit card
Atila: to make sure it doesn't vanish
Atila: i want to update the site
Atila: but I can't
Atila: I'm gonna upload my old userfiles and see if it helps


At that point he had to take off to get some work done. There you have
it. Since it's been a topic of discussion lately, I thought everyone would
like to know that Atila's been trying and now knows about the domain name lapsing.
