I thought it'd be fun, Cronos started this at EmuChrist, but there wasn't much going on with it, so I thought I'd add some comments!

This isn't exactly in order, but are 10 games I like on the Gamecube, there are others I like, but this is the top ten!

#10 Super Monkey Ball $19.99 3rd party

Marble Madness with simians, it has some crazy levels and some nice bonus games, it'll keep you occupied for a while.

#09 Super Mario Sunshine $16.29

Mario 64 with a water gun and a more open environment. It's a bit harder than Mario 64 and the controls and camera can get wonky, but it's fun.
#08 Geist $8.00 3rd party

A unique and fun to play 3rd party FPS, it's amazing this landed on the Gamecube and not the XBOX. Thanks for telling me about this game Cronos.

#07 Metroid Prime $19.99

More FPS goodness and the 1st 3D Metroid, it would lead to 2 more great sequels.

#06 Mario Kart Double Dash $16.00

A unique Mario Kart where 2 players can share the same racing car. It's fun if you don't play 150cc.

#05 Eternal Darkness $11.79 3rd party

A dark game with a mature rating that fucks with you, has replayability, and it came out for the 'Cube? WOW!

#04 Gauntlet Legends 3rd party

Warrior needs food badly! an excellent port of the arcade game, great 4 player fun.

#03 The Legend of Zelda WW with OoT/MQ $FREE

This was the reward for buying a Gamecube at a Wal Mart at the Right time. Even near the end of the 'Cube's lide this would have been well worth $50 if you purchased a $99 Gamecube. In fact buying the Zelda's alone if around $45 USED now @ $16 for WW and $26 for the Oot/MQ.

#02 Ikaruga $10.00 3rd party

The best shooter on the Gamecube, because it seriously lacks shooters. Unless you want to shell out $70-$100+ on the Dreamcast, you'll want the Gamecube version, which can often be had ~ $30.

#01 Tales of Symphonia 3rd party $16.29

A 3rd party RPG, the likes which you won't see on the Gamecube, Nintendo went out of their way to get this gem of a game. It rocks.

There Cronos, 6 3rd party games vs 4 Nintendo games, so there are a few great 3rd party games for the Gamecube!

The prices I listed are what I paid for them... Yeah, I'm a cheap bastard!

Nice list. Luigi's Mansion, RE4, Smash Bros Melee, MGS: Twin Snakes, Rogue Squadron, and Prince of Persia are also good ones on GC.

I like Luigi's Mansion but suck at the controls, I have Resident Evil 4 for the Playstation 2, I want to buy Smash Bros Melee, just not for $40, I have Prince of Persia for the PC, and I reek at Rouge Squadron, but I have that game.

I'm not a big Metal Gear Solid fan.

Nice list!

For Wii I would have to say:

Super Smash Bros: Brawl - Can't get enough of that. I'm starting to like this style better than classic fighting games... Wonder if that'll change with SF2:HD
Super Mario Galaxy - Best platformer since SMB3. Gravity is the shit.
Resident Evil 4 - Best version of the best 3D action/shooter. Finally an RE I like.
Excite Truck - Holy fuck. If only you could go online with it. Lots of tracks, and insane action. A game where I actually feel like doing stunts. Tree run!
Guitar Hero 3 - Never thought I'd like a game like this. Also has best version of the guitar, imho.
Metroid Prime 3 - Great game that shows how FPS can be done on Wii, platforming elements are well done also.
Super Paper Mario - Good old school 2D platformer, in high res. Pretty sweet... if only some enemies didn't look like they were scribbled by a 2 year old.
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - Very good zelda game, I would still like to see A Link to the Past remade in 3D though.
Wario Ware Smooth Moves - Can't feel down after playing this game. There's also some cool bonus games like one where you hold a balance and you have to stack falling blocks on it and keep them from tipping over.
No More Heroes - Really weird game, but funny story and a very visceral experience, it's like playing Kill Bill & Afro Samurai in one.

Endless Ocean, Sonic (if only it didn't have the mini-stages), & Umbrella Chronicles are also good games on Wii. Link's Crossbow Training is also interesting...

For PS2:

Dragon Quest VIII - best game evar. Every RPG should be like this or FF9 (or 8 or 7). Couldn't stop playing this one, and I'm still going back to it.
Metal Gear Solid 2 - First 3D MGS I really liked. Aiming in MGS1 was odd, almost Resident Evil 0/1/2/3-like.
Virtua Fighter 4 & Tekken 5 - Can't decide which I liked better. If more people played VF probably that one.
We Love Katamari & Katamari Damacy - Same here, both fantastic games, only eclipsed by Beautiful Katamari.
Neo Contra & Shattered Soldier - I might actually like Neo Contra better just for the insane multiplayer and that shit just does not stop coming at you. But I love the 2D side scrolling style of Shattered Soldier, too bad there were self-scrolling parts and parts you're on a bike. Contra 4 is the shit though.
Wipeout Fusion - Best racing game not in a car. Can't wait for PS3 version.
Outrun 2006 - Great racing game... love chaining powerslides. A perfect example of how to bring the old school back.
R-Type Final - Another great example. One of the best shooters I've played in a long time.... then again hardly anyone's making any. Sylpheed any good on the new gen consoles?
Rygar - Great game, what Castlevania should have been in 3D.
Shadow of the Colossus - Another great game... I'd rather play something like this than Zelda actually.

I also have to give thumbs up to God of War, the Ratchet & Clank and Jak series, also NFS: Hot Pursuit which was fucking amazing on the PS2 and shit on all other consoles.

Ahh why not...and in no particular order and these will be GC games **ONLY** to be fair:
Zelda: Wind Waker
Super Mario Sunshine
Animal Crossing
Eternal Darkness
Metroid Prime
Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2 (not 3...ever)
Tales of Symphonia
Starfox Adventures
Super Smash Bros Melee
F-Zero GX

Honorable mentions:
- Zelda Twilight Princess (the superior intended version with better controls, not mirrored, just plays overall smoother.)
- Luigi's Mansion (astoundingly fun, unique and good, but also short and not very replayable due to concept.)
- Chibi Robo (a unique game, fun, but not for everyone at all.)
- Cubivore (ugly as hell, n64 level intentionally, evolution based so not for everyone who is a close minded zealot...but damn it's a good ride.)
- Pokemon Stadium (I'm just tossing this in as for fans of that, which I'm not, it really opened up a lot of fun battles and times for anyone with a collection to work in 3D.)
