There's going to be a Williams Pinball Collection for the Wii? From the sounds of the reviews it may be great. I have the original PC version and it reeks, but maybe it'll do better on the Wii? I've heard the tables will be cool ones. I can't remember the list at the moment, but maybe I can look it up later tonight.

I know there's about every worthwhile pinball machine emulated *simulated if you wanna be picky*, but I like legal stuff, just say I'm a softie with a conscious, I like supporting the companies that made the games.

Yes and I thought it was already out in the UK. Also I have had that budget release WPC for the PC for years now and it's fantastic, especially Creature From the Black Lagoon and Arabian Knights. I'm really waiting on this one because if they don't just shovel shit with bugs like the Gottlieb one it can be great. The motion controller of the wii would allow one to press a button (Z on left and B on right) as the flippers and then with the accelerometers shove those parts in a direction as if you were shoving the machine for real. I'd get a huge kick out of that and it would really dumb if they didn't exploit something that obvious.

ALSO...what are you thinking of that Dream Pinball 3D for Wii and DS? They look interesting, especially the DS one just because of the technical end of it all in 3D.

Thanks for the info, another pin, cool! I haven't heard about that one. I found the other pinball in Game Informer and on Electronics Boutique's website.

I heard about the new Williams game and was thinking of getting the psp version, but haven't seen it in any stores. Really wish it would come out for 360.

Supposedly has been out since the 10th going by gameexpress.com and Amazon writes this about it:

$29.99

10 Classic Williams pinball tables from the 70's, 80's and 90's for the Playstation 2. Gorgar, Pinbot, Funhouse, Black Knight, Space Shuttle, Whirlwind, Firepower, Taxi, Jive Time & Sorcerer.

Pinball Hall of Fame includes 10 classic Williams' pinball tables from the '70s, '80s and '90s! Features unlockable bonus extra game features that the player can earn throughout the game, editable table controls such as Tilt, custom pinballs, more balls per play, table art gallery, 4-player multiplayer mode and much more!

LOCALLY - Only seeing so far Best Buy having it and not CC, Target, etc (and I dunno if walmart does but I'm never that desperate.)

REVIEWS -- They're giving it 8's, but screw that, the important part is the gameplay. Everyone is claiming PERFECT PHYSICS and FLIPPER CONTROL. Even though it is the team who had shitty bugs, bad flipper, and weightless ball with Gottlieb...they actually bothered to listen to bitching and fixed it! (Which is why I don't have Gottlieb anymore.)

Tried out Pinbot and Funhouse so far and I'm thoroughly impressed. The only thing that bugs me is minor but you can not pick either 3 or 5 balls on them as it's preset. I've always in real life played on a 5ball Pinbot and it's 3 on this game.

Anyways visuals and audio are excellent, shoving the wii controller pieces pretty damn accurately represents a live shove of the table too. You can shake the crap out of it in a rage, slam from sides, shove forward...whatever. Love it compared to the old way with shitty analog sticks or a digital button all or nothing. Physics seem fantastic, table audio is faithful, and I think at least 4 of them are on freeplay (Pinbot, Funhouse and Gargor I know are) while others cost a credit.) Credits you get by doing achievements each time you do the table or winning the 'match' at the end. When you hit 100 you can make a pay table free...Whirlwind or Black Knight I'm doing first on unlock. I'd say of all the varying years of virtual pinball this one is the most spot on with the WPC for Win9X/XP in 2nd.
