I didn't really believe it at the time, and it was based off of the a spokesman mentioning old games with no pricing structure. I wonder if the Wii tanked if they would be throwing us old games for free as incentive to purchase? I could even see them using this tactic to leangthen the lifespan of the console if things were to turn around over the next few holidays.
And the current prices are too high to us because romz have spoiled us all and we are over the intital "wow" factor of chasing roms down from back in the day. This extra "milking it" money is in my mind the only real dollar figure that could be thrown around as potential lost revenues. And even at a $1 I still wouldn't be buying something of the crap they have put out there...
