The "wad installer" sounds like it leaves things in the console... and so has bricking potential. Or is it all run from memory and lost when you turn the wii off?

I never tried installing any VC games because I don't want to screw anything up, plus I have emulators on XBox anyway if I want to play games I just download. Plus, if you just use the twilight hack then it all runs from the memory card and doesn't leave anything on the Wii, and you can just load up emulators to play those games, so what's the point of installing the VC versions again?

You use a twilight princess disc and a hacked saved game to make the wii flip out and run a boot.elf file. Thats it... the wad installer (boot.elf) then installs all the wad files you have on the memory card to your wii. I never read anything about bricking, the only thing i read was about people installing too many games and the memory wasn't enough so they had to reformat the nintendos memory (losing all there saves)

i installed like 20 games and still have over 1000 blocks of memory left on the system.

Twilight hack

WAD Installer that i used I uploaded this to rapidshare so it is the exact one i used. Change the wad installer.elf to boot.elf

Copy boot.elf to root directory of memory card and then put all your wad files in a folder called wad off of the root directory and then follow the steps to set up the twilight hack and go run it and your done.

gotta go to work
hope it works for yah

Yep have no money and no time so I'm only buying when I finish one game (or at least advance enough to be well bored).

I got Smash Bros before Zelda just a few days ago, as I've figured it's better suited for short playing sessions. Zelda apparently needs to dedicate 1-2 hr spans to get anything done.

Wish I knew about the hack was safe a little bit earlier. Oh well, as long as Nintendo doesn't release a fixed version, I should be fine... (fingers crossed).
