I just bought a motherboard, CPU, and RAM, bigger air cooler, and arctic silver for $488 shipped including taxes since Newegg has a warehouse in TN. I'd say you got a decent deal since that came with everything except a monitor. I'd hang on to that Vista license or key or whatever in case you want to use it in the future.

My new stuff:
Intel E8400 3.0GHz running at 4.0GHz (or 4.5GHz according to Windows)
4GB G.Skill DDR2-1000 RAM
Gigabyte EP45-DS3R motherboard
Some tall cooler with a 120mm fan on it
