Subjectforce feedback hanging process Reply to this message

So, i bought one of those PS dual shock clones for USB, itīs working ok, but when i enable the vibration, forcefeedback it simples locks the process hanging.
i tried with gtr2, and it doesnīt work (but it works wonderfully with forcefeedback off) also the same with M2emulator, on indy500, with FF on, it locks and hangs (but the rest of the computer is working ok.) however i played with it on Daytona USA and it worked correctly.
what can be happening ?
and how can i fix ?

also, is there any way to increase sensitivity on the analog stick, it makes the steering on driving games a tad little difficult.

i already tried to re-install the drivers, and i tried to switch usb ports

what else can it be ?

the rest of the system :
Asus Mobo
Celeron D 2.26 (i think)
1gb RAM
FX5200 video card
IDE Disks (1 optical and 2 hdds)
WIN XP SP2
DX9.0c

any help is appreciated.
thanks a lot.

Could be the amount of power that it is trying to draw, plug it directly in a USB port. Could be a shitty driver if it uses a custom one.

thought about that, so it is plugged direct into the back of the computer, right through a usb port.
also, yeah, it uses a custom driver, which is my main bet, is there any kind of generic ones that might work ?

also, is there any way to increase the "range" of the analog, i mean, i move it a little, and its already on maximum, i wish the movement could be smoother..

if its not possible, at least i only spend 10 bucks on it, hehe.

tried in my GF's computer, worked.
the main difference between our computers is that i never installed directx to hers, itīs the original that comes with win xp sp2 (8.0 ?)

i tried to rollback mine to test, but no luck.

anyway, could it be directx ?

M2 emulator seems to work fine (now with indy500 too, wth?) but final burn ff locks up.
also nfs:porsche locks up too.

i tried to map the controllers to keyboard and enabling ff, still locks up.
i tried to disable analog controllers, still locks up
it's the only usb device attached to my computer, my bios and windows are working on usb 2.0

whatīs bugging me, is that i have NO idea of what could it be.
seriously, any precise anwser is enough for me, working is not a real issue anymore
i just wish to know WHY it doesnīt.
