"I'm one of those assholes who thought I was too intellectual for sports games."

And I still am :-D j/k

Anyways, I was playing Mario Kart DS, a line I never liked. And then I thought, how much nicer it would be to play with real cars. And so I bought "Asphalt" something or other which is good for its platform, but all in all only good if you want to look at cool cars, not drive them realistically. And then:
-Race Driver: Create & Race (decent, but the sense of accomplishment is not as good as with others where you buy cars - also, a deficit of interesting cars)
GT-3 A-Spec Yes! This is waht I was looking for. But too few cars for my liking.
GT-4 This is it; what I was looking for. It has all kinds of awesome and odd cars, and a pretty good set of tracks. Still lacking in actual direction though, and what I've really wanted is to race those common - ass cars that nobody cares about - I want to race a Lumina or a Grand Am. And the parts all look the same, it would be nice to look under the hood...

And just so you know, the reason I never played racing games was because Destruction Derby 2 for the PS was so hard, and I thought GT would be tougher. I've realized that that game was just unbalanced.

So Now I'm also into Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness which is also wonderful. I recommend.
