He has an immune deficiency, like AIDS, but is non contagious. They gave him some vitamin A and cut the warts off IIRC.

Just watched the TLC show. Everybody just raped him. If the American and Indonesian doctors where having so much trouble connecting, why the hell did TLC have such an easy time filming it. And if they were having trouble getting a $10,000 sponser for the drugs, why didn't TLC just pick up the tab? That would have been a drop in the bucket for what they made off the show.
