This thing has me in stitches. It is so not PC. I doubt half of this was ever aired in our lifetimes. "The Wild Kid of Borneo" is worth the price of the box set alone.

It wasn't? I remember watching it up through the 1980s out of KTLA Channel 5 out of Los Angeles. I know it still was on the air in the early 90s at a decent time, eventually PC douchebags got it on like at 4am and you can guess how long that lasted. Both them and the Three Stooges got tanked about the same time.

I'm sure it was heavily edited while it was on. Scenes like Pete the Pup stealing a watermelon for Farina would not fly in the 80s. I never remember ever seeing the episode "The Wild Kid of Borneo".
Personnaly I feel most of this shit was like the Dave Chappelle show of the 30s.

If it was edited it wasn't much as I saw some pretty nicely racist stuff on there among other things that just wouldn't fly with females too.

It gives people a chance to see what comedy was like during that time period.

I just don't remember as much of it airing as Wildcat did. I'm thinking it's because I grew up in a PC wonderland. I can see some of these scenes getting cut just like some of those old Warner Bros cartoons.
Anyway I recommend the set.

They were buck tooth and slant eyed and it was pretty funny and not just racist in my memory. Just pro US stuff that was pretty much the norm.

Click You're a Sap Mr. Jap

If you want to see some real modern day un pc stuff look up the Palestinian Bee guy on youtube,Nazul.

Or this, they have Jewish people kill their pirated Mickey guy named farfur.
