When I got myself a vga cable for my 360, I took the cheap bastard's way and bought an intec one for 10$ less than a genuine microsoft cable. I had these problems like I couldn't switch the input on my monitor unless I would unplug dvi (computer) then vga would kick in. Also there was some ghostish blurry effect that wasn't looking good. I thought it was because the 360 didn't support my native resolution. I installed the new update which supports it and it didn't do shit. Now I just got this genuine cable I got from ebay for like 20$, brand new. Wow... everything is crisp clear now and I can actually switch the source on my monitor, woohoo! Should have done this in the first place.
