SubjectAnyone try Waioland Shake it? new Reply to this message

I've rented it for 5 days. It seems to be fun and make good use of the Wiimote. The cannons are difficult for me to aim, at least on the first secret level, but it was ranked hard. The first boss was interesting, and somewhat easy to beat. I just hope the game isn't like the 'Cube Warioland which was a cakewalk until the final level before the final boss...

I still need 2 or 3 crystals on the Gamecube Warioland but I get so frustrated when I play it, even with the guide book I'm stumped.

Still this ought to be a fun rental for the weekend, it's due back Monday by 7:00pm.

At the time I think I bought Rock Band 2 or Dead Space and couldn't take up another game. It looks like a lot of fun but I probably won't get it until I can find it cheap. I beat Warioland on GC but that was long ago.

I consider it as a waste of money for the price it is at. Sadly I wasted some trade in credit combo with some real cash on it. On a base level it's a very short and simple platformer game which doesn't have a lot of diversity to the gameplay. If you wish you can grab hidden treasures which can be cool to do along the way, some you come back for. The part that's a big shit to it are the 3 'missions' you can optionally do as each have to be done separately and the timed run to the gate is obscenely shitty as you can't do one damn thing by a second or so wrong or it's a restart of the game from the last savepoint which is annoying.

I found it a combo of too basic and the missions (many of them) too aggravating and/or annoying to bother with. If you like being pounded by a game badly you can go for em and maybe it's worth the cost then, but otherwise it should have popped out for $30 or maybe $40. Also they halfassed the widescreen tv mode on it placing it in a stupid border.

I agree it isn't worth $50, I waited until the Gamecube Wario dropped to $25, I might do it again for this version. I'm 1/2 way through the second level, and there are only 5 levels and a final boss afterwords...

And that's only after playing it for ~3 hours over 2 days...

The 2nd boss, you have to hit stuff into his vehicle. It's hilarious and entertaining, but damn, In less than a 5 day rental, I'm almost 2/5 of the way through the game. I don't want to pay $50 to finish the other 3/5... Sure, I know there's extra goals and junk to collect, but sheesh this game isn't worth $50.

Told ya, and the added crap honestly isn't worth doing other than to say you did it.

I just wanted to rent the game and @ $4 for 5 days wasn't bad.
I'm sure as hell not buying it until it drops significantly in price.

I do like the game though, but you're right, it's too short.

Oh I know you weren't.

I moved on from that dumb thing into Call of Duty on Wii and DS, and also Animal Crossing too. Still twisting away at Castlevania on DS and Crisis Core on PSP too.
