I was a big GNR fan growing up, but basically everything I've heard or seen of Axl as of late is pretty fucking weird, so I didn't have terribly high expectations of this. Turns out it's okay - not awesome, not what I ultimately hoped for, but not all bad.

itīs not fantastic great, but it's good.
Bucket's solos are kickass.

But his solos are pretty good. I don't think the entire album is him playing guitar - I understand there's like a half dozen different guitar players throughout the entire thing?

I wasn't a huge GnR fan myself (just the singles, I guess), but I downloaded this as well, and I'm enjoying it.

but his playing is top notch.

But yeah, i think there's at least half a dozen guitar players on the album, him, that bumblefoot guy, robin whoever, and a couple more.

anyway, buckethead, and paul gilbert have been a great influence on my playing lately.
hopefully one day i can get to a level where i can play their stuff without choking to death.
