Hello people,

My band recorded 2 songs, mostly to have a registry of our almost two years playing togheter.

As some you might know (or remember) we play covers of japanese songs and video game tunes.
So we recorded 2 songs, one it's a VG song, and the other it's a j-rock song.

Anyway, we recorded :

Your Rain : From Silent Hill 4. We did change a couple of things, so it's exactly verbatim with the original, but it turned out okay, i guess.

I For You : originally from Luna Sea. We did change pretty much everything in this song. From the instrumentation to ambience, to the general feel of the song. It wasn't my idea to do this arrange, and quite honestly, i feel it's a bit too empty, but it was the idea. (They handed me a file of a Nancy Sinatra song, called Bang Bang for reference).

Anyway, if anyone can listen and comment, it's appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I for You - Yes this song is a bit empty, not really my thing. But one question... why was it sounding like it was on a record, but then in the middle of the song it sounds like its changing stations like a radio.

Your Rain - This song was more to my taste. Started off slow then picked up quick. Singer is pretty loud in the mix though imo.

I know it doesn't fit in the category of music you are playing, but Im putting bets on your band could do a great cover of "The Zoo" by Scorpions

yeah, i wondered that too, but it's wasnt my choice, i was out voted on this song.
to me, the record effect alone was good.

i'm a big scorpions fan. Love at First Sting, it's one of my favorite albuns ever. and yeah, i think we could pull it off some scorpions covers.
i really need to put togheter a band to cover 80's music. (the good music from the 80's.).
