SubjectHow did I miss out on Dead Rising? new Reply to this message

It just slipped my radar since it was zombie bashing and I thought it was like the earlier RE games with the stilted combat (I have only really liked RE4 and Outbreak oddly enough though I tried them all)

What a great game once you get over the wonky save system. Save and quit means save my status but I want to start the levels all over? Brilliant idea guys :)

Left 4 Dead mixed with this online massively multiplayer would be pretty cool, and I am guessing is already in the pipe at either Valve or Capcom.

Have Dead Rising on 360 and it is fun to tool around in, but I have a seriously hard time putting effort into anything productive in the game. The whole timed missions, not being able to complete all the missions thing just goes totally against how I play games. I want to do everything, and this game won't let me.

Combat against the zombies is pretty fun. I HATED it at first, but you really need to start over and over again to level up a few times to have a character that isn't absolute shit. I'm still not a fan of any enemies in the game that have projectile weapons. Those convicts in the park drive me crazy because they can run all over the place in their Jeep, all the while shooting at me. On the other hand, I have to stand still like a stick in the mud trying to line up a shot with my gun. Meh.

For as much shit as the Wii version is getting, I'm curious enough to try it out to see how it works with the linear mission structure and save feature.

I would bet it would be more in the pipes for valve (no pun in intended). Capcom tends to tell fans of their cult games to fuck off. Or they would fuck up the multiplayer to no fucking end (cough Steel Battalion: LOC which I'm still very bitter about).

Oh as for Dead Rising (or as I call it Zombies in a Mall) Capcom has no intention of making a sequel as it did not do to hot in Japan. Never mind the fact it sold a shit ton world wide.

So in essence fuck you Capcom hope you get raped by dany in the near future.
