The federal tax withholding was changed so that less money was being withheld. It looks like a nice little pay increase but beware. That money was money that was going to your federal taxes, so come January of 2010 your federal taxes withheld will be much less and you'll get socked with a tax payment.

Stupid bastards. The Imperial Federal Governmentistas did this so you'd think they were getting something done for you. In January it's going to backfire on them when people start doing their taxes. Of course, the time frame from now to January is longer than the attention span of the American Idol fed public of the United States, so the politicians figure they can get away with it.
