I seem to be a bit of a natural hoarder. Some things, make almost-complete sense to my warped mind. For example, I still have all the cartridge and CD/DVD-based games I've ever owned*. After all, some day I may want to play them again and they aren't worth much money. On the other hand, I have also kept the box for my Wii (bought at UK launch almost 3 years ago) and all of the boxes for all of the accessories. I tend to keep stuff like that initially in case something goes wrong with it. But after 12 months, I think I should just get rid of it. I really don't think I'm ever going to be in the situation where:- a) A boxed Wii is going to be worth much more than an un-boxed Wii b) I'll be so desperate for cash that I'll need that difference in price
Hmm ... maybe I should also sell off some of the games. There are hundreds of the damned things, some of which I really can't see myself playing (let's say some day I play through Shenmue on the Dreamcast... will I then play through Shenmue 2 too?!). There's simply not enough time to play them all, and deal with the rest of work/life/food/sleep!
* Not floppy disk and not cassette - my Amstrad CPC 464 broke, and I don't think floppy disks would last 20 years +. Come to think of it, some of the older Dreamcast games might be getting ropey too...
