No see he did much like he did with his ex-wife Rowe in a sense. Had the original father end of the equation just write off his rights entirely basically making him nothing more than a walking cum bucket with zero recourse ever. Doing what he did would be even tighter than a normal adoption where someone could come back into the picture later and try crap depending on regional/state laws.
