My friend is a big mark for anything Planet of the Apes... movies, series, cups, figures, whatever. He recently downloaded the TV series off of the internet and invited me over.
The first scene of the first episode was of an ape boy and his "dog" chasing a human up a tree.
I asked him "Didn't the apes bring back a virus that killed off all the cats and dogs?"
