It was great!

Don't want to spoil it, some of what I say might. So be forewarned.

It had a very 1980's "message" movie vibe to me, though it shared the filmatic style more in line with Cloverfield, Blair Withc, etc. I think it was much better than either of those films though.

The things about I thought stood out to me, when filmd documentary style the characters should behave completely realistically or it seems extra "staged." I know it's a movie, I mean in the sense that the charavters changes seemed to take too long (how long was a gun to that one guys head? and how he acts when he gets the suit, stuff like that)

It was pretty cool though being at the Drive-in for a space monster movie. Sitting in the dark with my feet out the window, watching lightning flash on and off in the distance as a storm rolled north of us. What a way to wind down the summertime. And you get two or even 3 movies for $6 a person, that's pretty sweet too. They played some of those great "let's go to the lobby" type cartoons with 1950's announcers talking about the popcorn and hot dogs.

The Winchester in my favorite drive-in, it's been in operation since 1968. Here's there sweet sign:
