Damn, I hate the final fighter with Bowser, that was nasty. There's no way I'm collecting every coin, but I'll play it through again down the line!

Most of the game until the final battle was fun, and it made me happy to own a Wii, now where's the sequel?

I got it. Not a big fan. Controls are sluggish. Not the same as SMB3 which is my favorite. I'm on world 2 (Wind/Desert Level) and pretty much gave up.

Yeah, NSMB has a TON of throw the controller through the wall parts. Cheap hits, crap bosses....

It's true that the control isn't as "smooth" as the classics (I expected characters to "slide" more, lime in SMB1 which is still my favourite), but overall the game is fun.

It's really worth playing it casually with friends: when everybody dies (and causes everybody else to die for a number of reason) the game gets incredibly funny, instead of frustrating. Of course, if you're playing to finish the game, you'd better find a focused pro gamer or play alone, and that's where you get frustrated.

Found a great little utility for NSMB wii. I can edit my saves to give me more lives! I finished level 2. Hopefully this helps.

You can replay levels you beat, I replayed the first stage first level several times to rebuild lives.

I'm glad you're still playing it, it is a great game and worth finishing, but I warn you, the final battle is very nasty.

There's some folks over at gbatemp who are working on a patched version of the game. Not a sequel but it looks very promising. Of course, your wii has to be modified to run this.
