> Batman Returns on the SNES was awesome > > > >
Although I really didn't realize it, we really didn't have a lot of money when I was a kid. So I always got random used games my parents or grandparents picked up from mom and pop video rental stores when the games got old or weren't good sellers.
So somewhere along the line I ended up with Batman Returns. Definitely an epic game. Very happy that I got it. The music was spectacular, the visuals and scenes from the movie were perfect, and game play was fantastic. I remember the first time I chucked a bazooka guy into the that background Christmas display and it broke the glass. AWESOME.
I think it was that game that made me so fascinated with destructible environments (and why I still love noted "crappy" games like Revolution X). Coming from an NES, it just wasn't something that you ever saw. Was it necessary? No. But it added a ton of fun to the game.
But Konami really out did themselves with that title. It's a true SNES classic.
