Yes this is from Micheal Moore however please if anything take it from me that this is true (after all I am the pretty close to the source on this).

Most US regional pilots are paid close to what a Wal-Mart greeter gets. Oh and FYI pilots in the US are the lowest paid in the world (but isn't it funny how every industrial nation sends their pilots to the US for training). Now not to sound to entitled but last I checked as of 11/4/2009 I became a paid professional. And because I have lives in my hands paying for their safe passage shouldn't I get paid as a highly trained professional?
