That's exactly what it is. They don't celebrate the earlier as 'Super Mario' is their mascot that pioneered them through the world on the NES/Famicom's back. They did a Super Mario 20 celebration to start the crap up 5 years ago with a similar logo so figure every 5 they'll do it again as long as it matters.
