I saw this on http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1437570, and tried to access www.gog.com. It looks like they are shutting down. I'll miss gog.com, as I had wanted to buy a number of games off the site! :(

It looks like they'll give everyone a chance to redownload what they purchased, but man, this is sad! :(

And if it is, it's a poor one at that. Places that sell stuff and "close up shop" as a publicity stunt = bad for business.

I heard they are moving out of beta to some new site redesign.
