I'd love for an opportunity to work (even if for a while) in Europe. The bullshit in my country pisses me off, specially in an election year as this.
> It's Toulouse, and it's going to be for at least one year. > > Anyone of you knows what's good to see/do/eat in Toulouse and the Midi-Pyrenees > area? newsdee? > > GF is coming along, so no, the asses of french chicks are not an option :D > > I'll miss the family, friends, the sea, good pasta. > I won't miss Berlusconi (there's Sarko), my 12h/day job here, my salary. > > The boring story: last year a small business in Toulouse was acquired by my > company for their know-how, and I asked to go and learn something from them, > while teaching them our stuff. Nothing happens because a guy with more > experience is sent there (nothing to object). One year later the guy quits for a > golden position, the boss pops up and asks if I still want to go, he's sending > the fiancee along (she works in the same company). > > Whatever happens, it's gonna be fun: I always wanted to live abroad and know a > new culture. Integration is not going to happen in a second, but I'm an open guy > and the people in Toulouse seem to be the same. > > Wish me good luck! > >
All work and no play makes me..., well, you know the rest.
