Holy crap, I need more patience for this game. I think I went off into some secret path and it's more difficult, I think. There's that dragon that... whatever, I'm going to get more beer.

You talking late in the game dragon, or the water snake dragon on alternate end of stage1? Every stage up until the last couple has a path A and B, if you keep finding B on the B paths you unlock more locked up little girls and harder challenges (but the stages I think are more fun.) This game would murder me now I'm sure, but I had a good run of it back when I had a DUO over a decade ago.
