The 3D was shitty and under used, poorly converted as hell in some scenes (cardboard cut-outs), the plot was non-existent and completly un-engaging. The characters had as much depth as the 3D used in the movie (none). And as much as I enjoyed the original, the look and style in this one felt terribly tacked on, nothing awe-inspiring to me.
I don't regret going to the movies to see it, but I do feel I could've waited for the Blu-ray and not missed out on anything.
Props to the music though, gotta agree it sounded alright, even though I'm not too big a fan of electronic music.
All work and no play makes me..., well, you know the rest.
