USB/Wi-fi tethering if you root it. Depending on your phone you can load custom roms to add functionality and speed (www.cyanogenmod.com). I use mine for various things like game server status and such. You can use your GPS for more then just directions (extra apps will allow plotting/etc). Pandora/slacker are great for streaming music.
