SubjectAnyone interested in Zelda remake on 3DS? new Reply to this message

This reeks of cash grab. Reminds me of the Zelda crossbow game they sold on the Wii. I don't have a feeling on the 3DS either way, but is releasing a 12 year old game with some tweaks really the best they could do?

I am excited for the Wii 2 or whatever it is going to be called. Anyone else?

Seems to me like the new Sony device seems to be moving into iPhone/iPad killer territory, and not a game handheld. Why don't theyjust make a phone version and market it out the wazoo.

I have pretty much given up on nintendo's portable side. Hell even the wii collects dust. I sold my DS a couple years back and will probably not buy a new one unless my son shows some interest eventually.

The problem is that people ate it up last time they tried using a remake of an old game to move new systems (Super Mario 64 DS)

-nZero

Right now I'm still having fun playing my PSP/DS. I like both systems and don't see why I need another system.

I'm not wowed by enough games to want to spend $250 for another system. Plus, my PC needs repaired, and I'm tight on money at the moment.

I think the Zelda game sounds like fun, but not a system buying game. I'll admit it did help me get a Game Cube (Wind Waker, Ocearnia of Time, and Master's Quest included for free with the Game Cube, but that was almost 7 years ago.

I heard it wasn't very good either, but as I mentioned above, when WW, OoT, and MQ were being given "free" with a Game Cube, that got my attention.

Im actually looking forward to it. I haven't played the game in forever.

I've been enjoying my 3DS too. I've been playing Samurai Warriors which is decent. I know everyone bought Pilotwings or Street Fighter but those just didn't interest me. I'm also looking forward to when most of the 3ds features get activated via update in may (browser, store, and more)

But was really pretty much non-game. So maybe they are saying "this is how an RPG will look."

Have you tried Kid Icarus?

I'm interested, but only because the little updates to it and primarily just because I haven't played the game since the year it came out so it'll be fresh again.

The thing is I don't use the Wii anymore as it has been such a fucking disappointment thanks to the abuses of third parties of consumers like me with shoveled shit I can barely even stomach to play the good stuff so it just rots. The DS is like it or not dead, and nothing of value really is coming still and 3DS plays the stuff so I'm cool with that. The PSP I had turned into a JRPG only nerdfest as everything else dropped dead due to piracy so I sold it sadly out of boredom. All I have of use these days is my PS3 and the 3DS unless I look back as I'm hitting the NES a lot lately.

I wish those nitwits though 3DSwise had the full thing ready at launch. They obviously sat around and delayed launch out of Christmas to present both an overstock of system and a shit load of titles to play. I see no real excuse for not having the browser, 3ds shop, 3dsware/virtual handheld, or the 3d movie maker present and that pisses me off a bit.
