Yeah it is, I have a 500GB SATA drive so that's not a choice. Goddamn thing just did it again or I'd have replied like 10min ago to his post before you got in with this. It's getting on my fucking nerves. The issue can be searched for in google, I'm not alone, but I can't find a resolution so far.

Maybe it will come down to deleting one core driver after another. Maybe starting with video as he said, or something else. I'm really lost on it, it just sucks as nothing seems to be going on which I do to trigger it. I was about to hit 'reply' and it just popped. 25% locked in on the NT System/Kernel whatever it is thing, and then the use of the system/mouse pointer sputters between response and no response.
