Well, if Doom had sex with Blade Runner, anyway.

You know how you circle strafed in Doom and used barrels to blow hordes of enemies up? You do that in Hard Reset, except you also have a rudimentary experience point system, the graphics are fucking beautiful, and you have two upgradeable weapons that branch off into separate upgrade trees (one for energy attacks, one for ballistic attacks).

It's pretty damn fun. Keep your eyes peeled during the Steam sales this fall and see if you can score it for $15 or less. Well worth it.

Seems kind of short (I'm about 3 hours in and apparently more than halfway done), but it's one of the better run and guns that I've played in quite some time.
