I only care about the single player, so I'm holding off for a sale and to hear about how the campaign shapes up. Modern Warfare, World at War, and Black Ops all had fantastic campaigns, but Modern Warfare 2's was pretty not-very-good. Like surprisingly not-very-good. The best thing about MW2 was the ending, which was actually pretty-fucking-good (the credit sequence in the museum).

I'll probably wind up playing through Black Ops again a few more times or something while I wait. Loved the way it tied into World at War and I loved the general balance of the game on the default setting. Fuck the higher difficulties, though. Jesus christ did they do a shit job with balancing it out on those.
