Pre ordered hardened edition from gamestop with regular shipping (missed out on the in store pre order). Now with the holiday on friday I am wondering if I would even get it by the weekend.... think I may need to preorder a regular version for midnight pickup... but then I loose out on the Juggernaut avatar lol and have to pay an extra 10 bucks to get he elite account.

what would you guys do?

No sense putting down more money on it. Take the time to replay games, finish up other new ones, or hone your skills on other FPSs.
But that's my personal opinion. I don't like the whole "I gotta be first and play it the second it's launched" thing. I don't mind waiting it out one bit.

I took all next week off (not for the game... but it is a plus that it overlaps)... plus friday is a holiday so the mail guys won't deliver that day. The shipping on game stop says 1-2 business to process and 5-10 to ship. I double it would take that long but if that is the case it won't even make it by the weekend.

I wouldn't be out any money... I would just return the one from the mail if I get the one from the store. The biggest issue is I actually want the hardened edition... and I don't know if they would have that for no preorder anywhere.
