I got Satazius, it's been a while i've been eyeballing it.
My kind of game, short and to the point.

I keep eyeing the packs. I may buy the valve pack (as I don't own any valve titles on PC)

I have also thought about buying the THQ pack oddly enough.

Bought Ys origins about a month ago, I guess I'll have to buy Ys Oath in Felghana now :) 66% off, so 5$ only, it's a steal for such a great game! Ys Origins is 40% off too.

edit: also bought worms reloaded ;) To think I never had steam until a month ago

Bought Deus EX Human Revolution + Missing Link DLC and also Saints Row 3.
My budget is limited to around US$50, so I'm being reeaaally picky.
I was highly tempted by Max Payne 3, but my backlog is too big already. Rockstar is good with price drops and promotions, so I'll wait it out.
I'm eyeing The Walking Dead if it gets 50% off or more and keeping an eye out for anything that realy catches my attention.

My time for gaming is stretched thin, so I can't increase my backlog further.

All work and no play makes me..., well, you know the rest.

Tribes: Ascend Starter Pack ($4.99)

My wishlist is filled with a dozen games/DLC, all but one of them are on sale. But I'm holding out until either the last day of the sale or I see them as a Daily Deal or Flash Deal. I'm not gonna buy Ys Origin now for 40% off if it ends up a Daily Deal in a couple days for 75% off, you know?

Picked up Alan Wake. Still waiting to see what else is on sale, but hoping Skyrim gets discounted. Still don't have that one, yet.

I already own and have plat'd Borderlands, Bulletstorm, and Burnout Paradise on my PS3, but I really want to play them in 3D on my 3D monitor.



I would highly, highly suggest trying out Beat Hazard Ultra. The Complete Bundle, which includes the base game and the Ultra expansion is currently 70% off ($3.89.)

It's a great game if you like old-school Asteroids-style space shooters and music. It's got a twin-stick control similar to Smash TV (obviously controller support), and you basically load up your own mp3s, which it analyses and creates the stage based on the song you're play.

Different enemies and bosses come out at different times as dictated by the music. And as the music gets more intense, the action gets more intense (more enemies come out, your shooting is stronger and faster) and as the music calms down, your shots slow down and the enemies aren't as aggressive. All the while, the background is pulsing like some kind of graphic equalizer in space.

There are plenty of videos on YouTube of people playing different songs to it. I've been playing it since it came out last Summer. Always a game you can just go back to and play every once in a while when you get a new song you want to try out.
