Sorta on-topic, but do you know anything about Wii HDMI adapters? I realize I'm not going to get Wii in 1080p, and that's fine with me, as long as it doesn't look worse than running through the component cables. I looked around at various models at Amazon and various reviews, and most people note either video issues, or audio issues, etc.
My whole point of wanting an adapter is that I want to reduce cable clutter. I have a receiver connected to my TV via HDMI, and my PS3/Cable Box/WDtv/etc. all connected to the receiver via HDMI. All I have to do is hit a button on my receiver remote to switch between them. Now, I can run the Wii to the receiver via component cable, but the receiver won't convert the signal to output in HDMI, I'd still need to send components from the receiver to the TV, and then switch the TV input over to component. Too much work and clutter just for surround sound. If I could just get the Wii connected to the receiver via HDMI, that would solve all cable issues.
