That game has some minor annoyances that I wish had gotten a brief brush up before release (map navigation towards the end is a pain in the dick and the reverse difficulty curve makes the most difficult dungeon in the game is the first one), but it sucked me in so hard for the entire duration of the adventure and helped rekindle my love for the series after being thoroughly burnt out on SMT III. Still not sure if I'd be down for tackling the newer Persona games (I did not like 1 and 2).
Soul Hackers totally hit the sweet spot for me, too.
