Just came across this strange PS2, with a similar form factor as a shallow DVD player in a department store this morning (sorry for the very bad photo)

Any info about it? Should I try to convince the store manager to part with it?

Google finds nothing. I'm guessing it must be a store demo unit or maybe a recased unit. Maybe ask the owner where he got it and try to find some info from there...
