...what do you think is the best C-64 emulator. Compatibility-wise, sound-emulation-wise, funky-scanline-vblank-rendering-wise... what do you think?

Have you found CCS64 to be the best of what's available? I honestly haven't used it in a while because it's been 2.0 BETA for as far back as I remember, and I can never keep track of when it's actually changed. I've been using VICE because it seems to be fairly accurate, and they use a sensible version numbering system.

Just curious...

Perhaps it's time to give CCS64 another go... with more authentic colors now ;)
