I was never able to get the screen centered correctly using the basic display settings. Now I get full-screen with *nice* scanlines using OpenGL. I'm not sure how closely this matches a real Amiga, but I'm pretty picky, and it looks quite nice. Didn't know what I was missing all this time. It's worth the effort to explore OpenGL if your video card supports it.
