Is it possible to get winuae to work with my hotrod joystick... I know that "keyboard Layout A" is close but no fire buttons... I only need one of the joysticks to work... Any help? Thanks!

With my X-Arcade I had to remap buttons. So no, not withoutout hacking at the source will you get a Hotrod compatible layout.

Note that the Amiga only had 1 (or 2 at most) joystick buttons. A hotrod is slightly overkill, but makes for a nice SWOS controller.

You could plug a mega drive pad into the amiga, AFAIK it even worked for 6 button pads ( although I only ever had a three button one ). Also the cd32 pads had loads of buttons. The majority of people only had a one button joystick though, so most games ( especially the early ones ) were limited to that.
