In practice, this will mean a lot more disk images in the short term, and roughly the same amount of scan packages (a few per week statistically) as it is now. The disadvantage is that scans will be delivered separately, and thus people who have not contributed directly (and own the games of course), may find that sources that you may have obtaining CAPS releases may not carry the scans themselves.
