I have a classic game called infotron that I used to play on my mac. I still have the files but can not seem to find an emulator to run it on. Everyone I see requires a ROM and my IIe has long been dead. Any suggestions??

executor from ardi is an emulator that does not require bios to run.

otherwise, mac roms can easily be found using google :)

If you go to http://www.the-underdogs.org/nonpc.php, you can get the ROM image for a Mac Quadra (which I believe was the last generation Mac before PowerPC).

FYI, Infotron was a Mac version of a DOS game called "Supaplex", which you can easily Google and download. However, I find that when I run Supaplex under the Windows command prompt on my Pentium II, it is not nearly as smooth nor are the graphics quite as nice as when I run Infotron under the Basilisk II Macintosh emulator.

(I always wondered how three high school students managed to create such a great game all by themselves...)

If you like Infotron, you may also like Blobbo. Get it at http://www.pure-mac.com/puzzle.html .

Cheers,
JanRu
